Ross County Health District (RCHD) is seeking applicants for the position of Chief Fiscal Officer (CFO). The RCHD has an annual operating budget of $4M. The CFO is responsible for all fiscal operations including governmental fund accounting, grants management, budgeting, cost accounting and allocations, various statistical & cost analysis reports, audits, and annual financial reporting requirements.

The CFO will plan, develop, implement, and evaluate required fiscal controls and guidelines. The CFO serves as a member of the senior leadership team and works with division directors, the Health Commissioner, and the Board of Health to ensure fiscal compliance in all matters related to the financial operation across all divisions of the health district. This position supervises a staff of five direct reports.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field and five (5) years of progressive finance and accounting management experience including direct supervisory responsibilities and budgetary planning. MBA and/or CPA certification is preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience.
