Description

The Corporate Transparency Act requires many companies doing business in the United States to report information to the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) about who ultimately owns or controls them. Failure to complete this requirement by January 1, 2025 will result in heavy fines of $500 per day. On Friday, November 22nd from 12:00pm-2:00pm there will be a virtual information session on beneficial ownership information reporting requirements and how to comply with the law. We will have two ways to attend this event. To attend in person, please come to the SBA District Office at 65 E State St. Suite 1350 Columbus, OH 43215.
