On behalf of the Mid-America Cooperative Council, the CFAES Center for Cooperatives team will be hosting this Co-op Board Chair Roundtable focused on talent acquisition and retention. Our one-hour roundtables are opportunities to learn from industry experts and discuss current issues with peers, and to promote discussion and open conversation. Strategic Talent Planning is a process with proven tools and resources to help guide you through creating a strategy for what is likely your largest asset base – your employees. Over time and consistent use of Strategic Talent Planning you will see it become a part of your culture that will have a significant impact on the way you talk about your talent, develop your talent, recruit, and select your talent. Roundtable experts available to speak and answer your questions on talent acquisition and retention will include guests from CHS, Inc. Cooperative Resources Group, the Small Business Development Center, Manufacturing Extension Partnership, and Center for Cooperatives at The Ohio State University. This FREE event will be hosted entirely online. Those registered will receive a Zoom link prior to the event.
