The Community Action Committee of Pike County (CAC)’s Workforce & Business Development Program (W&B) is delighted to announce they are hosting a valuable opportunity for local business owners to enhance their understanding of basic business laws and legal issues. This comprehensive, no-cost workshop will be led by legal experts from Southeastern Ohio Legal Services (SEOLS). The workshop is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, September 6th, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Pike County Government Building located at 230 Waverly Plaza, Suite 100, Waverly. Small business owners are often faced with a myriad of legal complexities making it crucial for them to be aware of their rights, responsibilities, and potential legal pitfalls. The workshop will feature two distinguished Staff Attorneys, Caityln McDaniel and Hebeh Refaei, from SEOLS. During the three-hour session, participants will gain valuable insights into the general business laws that apply to their enterprises. One of the highlights of the workshop will be the interactive Question and Answer Session, which offers an invaluable opportunity for attendees to address specific business concerns.
