Description

Insights on Working Families: Join Our ALICE Webinar – May 15!

Join United Way of Greater Cleveland for an important conversation on May 15 at noon as we unveil the annual 2025 ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) Report.

The ALICE Report tracks data on working households that are above the Federal Poverty Level but still struggle to afford basic expenses. This conversation is for anyone interested in understanding the economic realities faced by many in Northeast Ohio, and how data can support more effective local responses.

What to Expect:

  • A walkthrough of the 2025 Ohio ALICE Report by Maryam Kiefer, Director of Public Policy at United Way of Greater Cleveland, including a live demo of the ALICE website.
  • Real-world examples from Sarah Myers of Ravenwood Health and Sarah Welch of Catholic Charities, who will share how the Geauga Poverty Collaborative uses ALICE in their work.
  • Q&A moderated by Cariss T. Smith, Director of Grantmaking and Community Partnerships at United Way of Greater Cleveland.

This free webinar will be hosted via Zoom. All registrants will receive a recording afterward, and it will also be available on United Way of Greater Cleveland’s YouTube channel. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights and tools to support your work in the community. Registration link: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_RlN2z2SEQKOPDn0IX5yi0g
