Full-Time Insurance Professional

The position duties may include but will not be limited to: Interacting with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services. Processing new insurance applications, policies, and related documents. Updating existing accounts and records to accurately document the transactions pertaining to the accounts. Reviewing applications to ensure questions have been answered, compiling data on new and existing accounts, and assisting other agents with vital task completion.

 

Skills desired: Ability to communicate using good personal skills (in person, telephone, and written)- a must. Ability to be self-motivated and organized. Ability to take instruction and multi-task. Most importantly, a desire to learn and to use resources to find answers and solutions.

 

Computer skills/experience desired: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (word and excel), Microsoft Outlook, web skills/ social media. Experience with an agency management system like AMS 360 is a plus.

 

Being a currently licensed insurance agent is desired, but not required. Willingness to become licensed is important.
