Mobility Manager
POSITION POSTING:

POSITION INTRODUCTION:
The Mobility Manager will work to coordinate mobility needs in Ross County through partnerships
with other agencies and organizations and transit providers. The Mobility Manager will participate
in development of the Regional Coordinated Plan and lead efforts to update Ross County’s Locally
Developed Coordinated Plan. The position will be a part of short and long-range planning,
coordination, and support of transportation options in the county for medical, educational,
employment, and leisure needs. This includes managing activities and projects for improving
coordination among public transportation and human services transportation providers, targeting
seniors, persons with disabilities, and low-income populations. This is a Grant Position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS and CHARACTERISTICS:
• Bachelor’s degree in community development, public administration, planning, business
administration or equivalent work/education experience required.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to develop, organize, motivate, and coordinate groups.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and organize data.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff members, public officials, representatives, and other
stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various audiences (both in writing and verbally).
• Ability to prepare informative and accurate reports on program progress.
• Experience with grant administration, grant writing, transit systems, accessible services, human
services transportation coordination, or related experience preferred.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have a valid State of Ohio driver’s license and remain insurable in accordance with the
agency’s insurance policy.
• Ability to pass a B.C.I. Background Check and Drug Screening.

Salary Range:
$21.18 - $25.42
Schedule:
8-hour shift – Mon – Friday
