Prep Cook/Baker
We are looking for a Baker and Prep Cook to cook, bake and prepare the restaurant for service.
Responsibilities include opening the restaurant early in the morning, mixing dough, preparing fillings and sauces. To be successful in this role, you should have work experience as a Baker and/ or Prep and be able to make items from scratch.
Requirements/skills needed for this position are as follows:
• Experience as a Baker or Prep Cook or similar role
• Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters, food slicers, etc.
• Understanding of food safety practices
• Excellent time-management skills Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
• Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
• A team player with good communication skills
• Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
• Flexibility to work in early morning shifts
