Our small, welcoming storefront is seeking a reliable and friendly Storefront Associate to join our team and help deliver a great experience to our customers.

Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Storefront Associate to manage daily operations at Rosie’s Dry Cleaning. This role involves handling customer interactions, processing garments, and ensuring smooth operations. If you enjoy working with people, have strong organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle Incoming and Outgoing Clothing: Receive garments from customers, inspect for stains or damage, tag items for processing, and ensure accurate pickup of cleaned clothing.
• Measure for Alterations: Take precise measurements for customer alterations, ensuring clear communication with the tailoring team.
• Answer Customer Questions: Provide friendly and knowledgeable responses to inquiries about services, pricing, turnaround times, and care instructions.
• Operate Cash Register: Process transactions accurately, handle cash, credit, and digital payments, and issue receipts.
• Organize Clothes: Sort, tag, and arrange garments for cleaning and pickup, maintaining an orderly and efficient storefront.
• Additional tasks as needed to support daily operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service, retail, or dry cleaning is a plus but not required; we will train the right candidate.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers.
• Ability to learn and operate a cash register and basic point-of-sale systems.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and handling light lifting (e.g., clothing bundles).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.
