Homeland Credit Union announces 2025 scholarship program
The Homeland Credit Union annual scholarships have been created to recognize students' past efforts and future goals. It is our hope to help ease the financial strain of beginning your college career. Twenty $1,000 scholarships with an additional $1,000 18-month certificate of deposit will be awarded to twenty high school students within the field of membership for Homeland Credit Union.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
-Must be a member of Homeland Credit Union or a dependent of a current member -Must be a high school senior
-Must graduate with a minimum 2.5 GPA
**Homeland Credit Union directors, management, staff, and their dependents are not eligible.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
•Submit one letter of reference from a high school principal, administrator, teacher, counselor, or coach addressing the character and leadership skills of the applicant.
•Provide a transcript reflecting applicant's cumulative grade point average throughout high school
•The following is required to submit with your application
•Student Information including a detailed leadership and community involvement sheet. Please include any school or community clubs, organizations, sports, etc. in the past four years. Include the type of involvement or position held.
•Employment History: please include all types of work including but not limited to babysitting, family jobs, etc.
*500 word Essay
*Please provide a current photo. This will be used for promotional purposes if awarded a scholarship and is not shared with the selection committee.

Credit Unions are not-for-profit financial institutions whose purpose is to serve their members. How can Homeland Credit Union better serve its under 25-year-old members?
