Myranda Vance named new executive director of Ross County Park District
The Ross County Park District is pleased to announce that Myranda Vance, a long-time employee of the Park District, has been appointed as its new Executive Director. “I’m honored and excited for the opportunity to serve our community in this capacity,” Ms. Vance commented.
In January 2023, Woody Woodward, Executive Director of the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association (OPRA), launched a nationwide search to fill the Ross County Park District's top leadership position, which resulted in a pool of well-qualified candidates. A letter from Mr. Woodward after the interview process was completed stated that “Myranda cares deeply about the Park District and about Ross County. She is, in my view, the most outstanding candidate for this position.”
Ms. Vance's role as Executive Director became effective on April 20th, 2023.
Additionally, Dr. Reggina Yandilla, DO, has been appointed Ross County Park District commissioner. She is an Internal Medicine Specialist in Chillicothe, OH, and has over 21 years of experience in the medical field. She graduated from Ohio University College Of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002. She is affiliated with Adena Regional Medical Center and has been a resident of Chillicothe since 2006.
